* All competitive units have welded fittings. The Fermenator has the only fully replaceable, 100% leak-free fitting design. If a threaded fitting or sanitary fitting on competitive unit gets damaged, or wears out, the fitting cannot be replaced without cutting and welding, or replacing the entire tank assembly.

** The weld-free fittings allow you to orient the dump valve in any position that is convenient for your application, not where it happens to end up when tightening a welded fitting....such as facing the rear of the refrigerator!
